Dr. Mahdi Emamian is a board-certified pediatric dentist who brings both depth of training and a genuine love for children’s dentistry.

A proud Maryland local, Dr. Mahdi completed all of his education and specialty training in his home state—including college, dental school, and pediatric residency at the University of Maryland School of Dentistry—where he also served as Chief Resident in both the Advanced Education in General Dentistry and Pediatric Dentistry programs.

Professional Expertise

Dr. Mahdi’s expertise encompasses the full spectrum of pediatric dental care, from routine cleanings and preventive guidance to managing complex medical needs and caring for children with special healthcare needs.

He is a diplomate of the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry and an active member of both the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry and the Maryland Academy of Pediatric Dentistry.

With every visit, Dr. Mahdi approaches his young patients with humor, compassion, and patience, because he believes that when children feel comfortable and confident at the dentist, they develop lifelong healthy habits and positive attitudes about their smiles.

He takes time to build trust with each child and family, making every appointment both positive and memorable.

Beyond the Practice

Outside of the office, Dr. Mahdi enjoys spending time with his family, often at arcades like Dave & Buster’s.

His interests include everything Disney, watching sports—especially soccer, basketball, and football—and trying to beat his daily step record!
